Naked Truths is the first documentary to portray hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) exactly as it is lived—raw, unscripted, and unfiltered. A chronic inflammatory disease marked by painful lesions, drainage, and scarring, HS often goes misdiagnosed for 7–10 years, leaving its true burden largely unseen. This film was created to surface what has long gone unspoken and reshape the conversation around HS. 

Centered on real patients, providers, and advocates, it rejects polished messaging in favor of emotional truth—capturing pain, shame, frustration, and resilience. Because symptoms affect intimate areas, many people hide in silence, often leading to resignation. 

Through the experiences of three patients, two ambassadors, and two HCPs, the film pairs documentary storytelling with abstract, artistic sets that mirror the internal realities of HS—driving awareness, deepening empathy, and opening a more honest, informed dialogue around a condition too often kept hidden.
