With Indulgent Reenactments Wendy's is giving an epic treatment to less-than-thrilling social posts, proving that everyone has done enough to deserve the cheesy indulgence of Wendy’s Bacon Portabella Melt.
So, we're encouraging people to keep doing what their doing: Document your life on social media. Be trivial, just use #EarnedIt. We made them sound epic by having a movie trailer voiceover artist record them, and sends them back in real-time. Then on Youtube, Facebook and Twitter we premiered two high-budget summer blockbuster-type movie shorts (complete with epic soundtracks, villainous squirrels and explosions) based on these kinds of tweets and posts.
All to prove that your everyday is epic. At least, epic enough for you to deserve a Wendy’s Bacon Portabella Melt as a reward.
