ENCOURaging asthma sufferers to see their disease differently.

Each May during Asthma Awareness Month, DUPIXENT focuses on educating patients and caregivers about the true nature of their condition through statistics that help quantify the true impact of asthma. It’s more than an inconvenience; it’s a significant health concern that requires attention and action.

At the heart of our campaign for AAM was a transformative idea: “It’s More Than Just Asthma.” Our strategy hinged on disrupting the status quo of asthma treatment, where complacency on old-school asthma treatments has led to acceptance of subpar asthma management for moderate-to-severe asthma patients. We aimed to empower these patients with a simple yet profound message: “Do Something Different.” 

This campaign marked a significant triumph in our ongoing efforts to illuminate the challenges and treatment options for asthma. The campaign’s digital footprint expanded remarkably, with overall site visits surging by 54% year-over-year. This uptick wasn’t just in numbers; it was also in the quality of engagement. Month-over-month, we witnessed a more engaged audience, with enhancements in the Engagement Rate across all channels.
